Are you wondering how all these things fit together? They sum up my life right now. Here's what's going on at our house.
It's almost summer vacation!!! The kids are crazy both here and at school. I'm way past crazy and well on my way to insane, but everything will even out after next week is finished. Several opportunities have been presented in the past few weeks for in-service credit this summer, but I have successfully avoided committing to anything so far. I'm looking forward to spending as much time as possible with Jeff and the kids. We haven't camped much in the last couple of years and I would really like to do that again. Jeff and most of the kids will camp almost anywhere. Savannah and I will camp anywhere...as long as there is a nice bathhouse.
Savannah is graduating from high school and her dad and I are so proud of her. Our seniors were honored at Church last Sunday night, and all of them made a display. I looked through pictures to help Savannah with hers and I couldn't believe how quickly the years have come and gone. She has always been so much her own person. It's evident even in the pictures from when she was very small. Her display was beautiful, of course. Not only is Savannah graduating high school, but Sam is graduating from 8th grade and will be starting high school next year. I am trying to not be emotional, but I'm not sure I'm doing a very good job of it. I have loved each and every stage the kids have gone through, although some more than others. I just wish they would slow down a bit.
Harper is our happy girl. It doesn't take very much at all to get a smile that makes anything that is wrong in my grown up life go far away for a while. This time all it took was chocolate chip cookies. She had already had two, but worked her magic on Savannah and ended up with two more. She was very tickled with herself and enjoyed her extra treat. Sorry about the sideways picture, but still...Undeniable Cuteness!!!
Tupperware...bet it's been a while since you've heard that name. I'm now a consultant and am loving it! I wanted to do something that did not involve kids, but was still family friendly. Not that I don't love kids, but I needed a little bit of grown-up interaction. I'm really enjoying doing the parties and am making some extra money as well. My website is: www.my2.tupperware.com/tracybottoms . It's not showing up well, but there is a . after the 2 and after tupperware.
That's how it all ties together...now if I can just keep it tied, everything will be great :)
