We finally made it to Disney World!  Ella has been wanting to see all the princesses for a very long time, and it was all worthwhile because Cinderella waved and blew her a kiss during the parade, PLUS Minnie Mouse kissed her on the head! :)

There has been a discussion for some time at our house about mermaids.  Ella is very sure that they are real...Max is not so convinced.  We have all been careful to let Ella believe in her little girl magic, while allowing Max to be his usual analytical self.  We watched Voyage to the Little Mermaid and Ella is perfectly satisfied that there are indeed Mermaids...Max is still not on board the mermaid ship.

We all enjoyed our vacation, even though Disney is not any kind of relaxing.  I had my usual unrealistic expectations of "The Happiest Place on Earth".  Never in those expectations did I expect to look at one of my children during the fireworks...you know what I mean, when you look to see the wonderment on their face and their eyes shining...and have them GROWL at me for looking at them.

We did have a lot of fun.  Jeff and I both enjoyed riding with Jeffrey and Sam.  We had not ridden the Expedition Everest before, and it was great, but my favorite is still the Aerosmith's Rockin Roller Coaster. Jeff and I did not ride the Tower of Terror, even though the boys tried to get us to.  Savannah wasn't able to ride a lot, but enjoyed taking lots of pictures and seeing the shows.  She also had her picture made with Phineas and Ferb, which she says was the highlight of the trip. :)  Ella was brave enough to ride Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion, but will probably never ride them again.  When you ask her about it she says, "They a little bit scared me!"  Max enjoyed the Star Tours and was excited to see some of the Star Wars characters.  He loved getting autographs and surprised us by not asking if they were real.  The only thing he asked was where Mickey's tail was.  Harper was WONDERFUL through it all.  She is a happy baby and just goes with whatever is going on.  She rode with us on the Haunted Mansion ride and kept everyone laughing by yelling BOO! and then screaming when she heard someone else scream.  She was so cute that I paid more attention to her than the ride.

We had a great time and are looking forward to the rest of our summer.
